IT’S ALMOST TIME!!
1st day: January 3rd (weather pending)
Please park and then walk your ski club member to the base lodge. There is seating inside to put on gear.
All skis and snowboards must stay outside the lodge.
Members will check in to get their lift ticket arm band and check out (returning their arm band) every day.
Laura Cole and Katie Seaver and other volunteer parents will be at Ski Bradford every Wednesday. You and/or your child can find us inside the lodge at either the Penn Brook or GMHS tables. If you need anything, find us there or look for any adult with a royal blue arm band or any adult working for Ski Bradford. We will have 6 parent monitors on the slopes and 2 parent volunteers at the tables.
Monitors: 6 total
The monitor’s responsibilities are:
- Assist students from vehicles to base area.
- Assist all students through the rental shop.
- Help students with boots, skis and snowboards if necessary.
- Direct students to lesson meeting places.
- Monitor students to ensure their skis or boards are put in racks when not in use.
- One monitor should stay near the lesson meeting place to assist students.
- One monitor should stay in the lodge always to assist with any problems or unusual circumstances.
- At the end of the session each week, be sure that all rental equipment is returned.
- Upon departure, assist all students so that no one is left behind.
- The area will provide lift tickets for monitors.
