The Georgetown Youth Community Center is offering weekly creative, inclusive, educational and recreational programming throughout the summer to incoming 5th graders and up. Each week will offer a fun theme followed by hands-on activities that will support one of the five main Social Emotional Learning skills.
Our passionate and highly skilled Program Coordinators will facilitate inclusive hands-on activities. The GYCC staff is dedicated to your child’s happiness, well-being and development. Activities are carefully crafted to nurture the interests of our participants. We offer general and specialty programs with age-appropriate activities with a focus on Social Emotional skills and having fun while learning.
To support our weekly leadership and youth development activities there will be fun- filled weekly themes that will allow participants to dress up or showcase their creativity. To ensure participants are having a great time, at the end of the week there will be a special activity to close the week. Each week will host a different activity or event whether it be a water balloon battle, ice cream day or costume kickball game just to list a few.
